Senior Sales Manager - Madrid (French Speaking)
From RightHand, a company specializing in attracting and retaining digital talent, we are looking for a Senior Sales Manager (French speaking) to lead business growth in the French market, driving new client acquisition and building high-impact partnerships with direct advertisers, marketers, and both holding company and independent agencies. Based in Madrid, this is a senior commercial role with full ownership of sales strategy, pipeline development, negotiation and deal closure. The ideal candidate is a proven new-business leader, comfortable selling complex digital advertising solutions and operating at senior decision-maker level.
Required experience:
Sales Strategy & Market Ownership:
· Develop and own the sales strategy and business plan for agencies and brands in France.
· Identify, qualify and convert high-value new business opportunities.
· Maintain full ownership of the French market pipeline and revenue targets.
New Business & Commercial Leadership:
· Drive new customer acquisition through agencies and direct brands.
· Lead complex, consultative sales processes focused on value and long-term partnerships.
· Position digital advertising solutions as strategic growth drivers for clients.
Sales Execution & Performance:
· Own the full sales cycle: pre-sales qualification, solution design, negotiation and closing.
· Continuously analyze sales performance, pipeline health and growth potential.
· Deliver against challenging KPIs and revenue targets with consistency.
Relationship Building & Influence:
· Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers across agencies and advertisers.
· Leverage a strong existing network within the French market to accelerate growth.
· Act as a senior commercial voice, influencing internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
· 7+ years of experience in new business sales within media, digital advertising or ad-tech.
· Strong, well-established network in the French market.
· Proven track record of winning new business and scaling strategic accounts.
· Ability to sell complex, solution-based offerings to senior decision-makers
· Strong portfolio of independent agencies and direct advertisers.
· Clear leadership presence and ability to bring stakeholders on the journey.
· Strong commercial mindset with a proactive, results-driven attitude.
· Collaborative team player with high ownership and accountability.
· Native French speaker (mandatory).
